Want to plug a 95-99 bose radio into a 3rd gen.max

I have a 1990 se I want to put the 4th gend radio in it. I cant seem to find a 93-94 Double din Max radio that isnt really high in price so I bought a 95 radio but i need the plug that connects the two without spliceing wires?
any one know if there is such a plug?

Do you have the harness for the 95 head unit? If not, get one from a wrecker. Then, you can do one of 2 things. One would be to get a wiring harness adaptor kit, which plugs into your car, and then has bare wires. Take the corrisponding bare wires, and wire them to the 95 wiring harness. Second option would be to cut out your existing wiring harness, and then wire the corrisponding wires together. This shouldn't be too hard to do, and just requires the wiring code for the car, which is readily available. See if it works, and let us know the result.

I'm curious myself, because generally speaking, I tend to prefer the stock look over aftermarket. The controls tend to be layed out a lot nicer, are easier to read and control, and the display is functional, not flashy. I've been thinking about getting a 95-99 or so OEM head unit and changer, then hooking it to an independant 4 channel amp. That way I'd get the stock look, with nice big easy to use controls, but have the sound quaility of aftermarket. Plus, being stock looking, that might deter thieves. It's just a backburner plan for now, because I'd only do it if I got a good deal on a good condition head unit and changer.

I bought the american international NWH-700 harnness that plugs into the 3rd gen maxima and the NWH-703 harness that plugs into the 4th and 5th gen maxima, but Im not to sure if all the wires should be connected together or should there be any wired to the metal of the car.
I appreciate your help.

It can be done with the same wire harness as above post.
