yes the factory spoiler is a nerf feeling spoiler.

I didnt like that so I got a Stillen Type II which I think is the best looking spoiler for the 3rd gen. I decided to go spoilerless because of the look I am going for and sold it.

Congrats on the auction. But a few things:
1) They don't show the underside of each end of the spoiler. That's bad because that's where they all rust out.
2) Each end is not only held down with tape, it uses clips to hold it down. Since the auction only advises tape, I'd be wary about the condition of the ends(again)

Some type of epoxy should work. That's what I'm going to do.

mine is all cracked all over the place, and rises about half an inch from the trunk. is there a way to take it all off completely without damaging the trunk? and will there be pernament stains on the trunk after removal? or just the rust and a couple holes

from stillen. Call them and they will give you a better price than on the web.

It sould be around $225 shipped or less (I cant remember what it was originally).

It will cost you another $100 at least to have it molded to fit flat on the trunk and painted.

There are 2 quarter sized holes on the left side, 2 quarter sized holes on the right side and 4 screw holes in the middle with one large hole for the electrical wires. Its easy to take off and no damage will occur to the truck lid

When I took mine off the bottom of the left and right sides of the spoiler had extensive rust, with rust on both sides of the trunk lid.

This weekend I am filling in the rust holes on the spoiler and then reattaching the spoiler using glass adhesive, which was recommended somehwere else on this forum.

After 15 years in Minnesota weather, this is the only rust on the car and I intend to keep it for at least 5 more years, not because I am cheap, but because the darn thing never breaks down

Anybody have any other advice on how to fix this?

i dont know how good of a fix anything is. mines doing it for the second time. and the previous owners (friends of the family) took it to nissan and had it reattached/glued whatever they do to it, and 5 years later its coming up again.

your lucky w/ no rust. mines on yr #12 in MN and its starting to rust around the fenders
