Just bought a 1991 SE (couple newb questions)
Since search doesnt work (yes i read the sticky) i figure i should ask here...
1. My SE is missing the foglight housings -- The switch and fuse are there but both foglight fixtures are missing (ripped off i guess). What do most people do? Buy new housings from Nissan? Do people on this site use Courtesy Nissan for parts?
2. Dash clock doesnt work -- I have searched for a fuse but all my fuses appear ok. Not having a clock is owning me. Can it be fix/repaired/replaced easily?
3. My front 2 Bose speakers are shot -- Are the Bose speakers amped? or can i just buy new speakers and swap them out? What size are they (front and back)?
4. Drivers seat has a rip in the leather -- A piece of tan tape would work well, but what do other people use? The rip is about 6" long and in the center of the drivers seat.
5. Clear corners -- My car is pearl white. It currently has the all clear/chrome corners. Can i smoke them myself or should i buy a set of smoked corners? Where is a good place to get them?
6. I have a set of 300zx calipers and rotors laying around in my garage. I have heard that they are 'bolt-ons'. Is that true? Is there a writeup anywhere?
Thanks in advance to anyone that helps

nice z.. link for the clock http://www.geocities.com/craigbrace/..the rotors im not sure about..for the foglights alot of max's j use the autozone square ones that are only 24.99 or if ur money is better go for the piaa's from a speed shop i got mines from a swap meet in e'town.all 4 of my speakers were shot so i went with acoustics..great sound..i believe that all the boses are amped so ull have to run the wires directly from the radio..i had these installed by a pro on a weekend while i fixed his computer, but i know that their amped.be sure to tape up the connections to the amps.

13" Cobra rotors, custom caliper brackets (by me), custom ss lines.
Very similar to Z1 motorsports Cobra rotor package. But adapted by myself to work with the dimensionally different maxima caliper mounts

Not to steal your business Jeff, but you can also use Z32 rotors, but you have to shave the rotors by a few mm. It also isn't as effective because the 300ZX calipers sit in the same mounting points as stock, so the radius for the clamping force isn't as high as with Jeff's kit. I have his kit and I love it ![Smilie](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

As for the clear corners, buy a set somewhere and send them to Michael (awsm66 on this board). He'll tint them professionally for cheap. They look great. I'd stay away from Ebay clear corners though because the rubber trim that seals the housing tends to come apart fairly quickly.

You can either get the SE or the GXE fogs. Some people prefer the GXE's because they are a bit smaller and don't look so much like 'frog eyes'.

PM awsm66 for smoking clear corners, he does an awesome job.
The calipers bolt on, but yes you have to shave 3mm off the radius of the rotors.
