ammount of drop is solely up to you. Some people here think Eibachs are worthless because they only provide 1.25(IIRC)" of drop. while others think Eibachs are perfect (me lol). Really you just need to look at pics and see what you like. Dont forget to install bumpstops, and its a good idea to replace your struts aswell. Also this has been beaten to death, so dont expect a bunch of replies .

only if you're riding on stock struts with lowering springs

if you get some good aftermarket struts (KYB, Tokico, or Koni), then the ride can still be pretty nice

yeap. Well actually I think there are 2 sides to his comment.

Craigs point, where if you use the stock struts it will be bouncy and crap. The other side is that the shocks stiffen things up quite abit and cause you to feel the road more (namely the bumps and whatnot). However with that comes better handling, so you just need to find a spring thats right for you.

(hopefully that makes sense lol)

here we go: warranties on all makes of shocks/struts are voided if you lower the car. so keep the receipts and don't tell the place where you bought them that you lowered the car after your struts fail.

buy lowering springs from a different place.

prepare to replace the struts and shocks evey 18 months or less (of course, some will not agree with me).

eibach springs are rather stiff compared to ST, for example. ST feels stock-like. eibach does not.

tokico struts are stock-like. koni's are not. koni is big money. tokico, kyb - smaller money. tokico i believe are factory stock parts anyway. or they were.

koni adjusts. tokico not. i think kyb is non-adj. myth has it that adjustables are less structurally sound, more parts to fck up. non-adj more durable. myth or fact? i dunno what to believe, but i stayed with tokico after mine went after 18 months.
