Water Pump Removal
In addition to the trany problem (thanks eric93se for the help- will try fix this weekend), now my waterpump has failed. No problems getting it lose, just can't remove the stinking thing from the engine compartment. Any tips??

Well, first thing you should do is take off the belts and then the pulley. Then loosen the bolts for the water pump. there may be a braket of some sort in the way. Your best bet is to remove as much as you can to make the removal easy because you dont have a lot of space to work with.Just remember where everything goes and you should be, ok. If worst comes to worst you may have to take the front 2 cross member bolts and lower the engine a little bit to get it off, but I dout you will need that.
