My driverside outside door lock...

I can only turn my key to the right (rear of the car) to unlock the doors. I cannot turn it left (towards the front). On the passenger side i cannot turn the key either direction. Do i have a valet key or is this some funky alarm issue?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

On the drivers side try spraying the key lock with PB blaster see if it'll loosen up. On the passenger side make sure your door is the original door for the car. I thought something was wrong with my lock and one day I decided to take off my moldings and I found out that a door from a champaigne colored maxima was painted and put on my car.....

maybe the key is worn down enough not to engage the correct tumblers, or a combination of the lock and key being worn.
