Goo gone...

Is goo gone safe to use on the car's exterior?? I removed the thin trim right below the door handles and it left some excess adhesive i want to remove... do i just apply the goo gone and let it sit on the adhesive for a couple of minutes or what?

I haven't seen any problems from using it. And you really don't need to wait that long. Put a little on, wait about 5-10 secs, and use a soft rag to rub off the adhesive. It may take a few times to get it all, but that's because the stuff will run down.

once you have it clean, be sure to wax the area again. the goo gone will also remove car wax. no damage, just be sure to cover it up with wax.
