ECU placement in Australian Max

Hi again,

I am starting to experiance the same stalling problems as described in the forum before me. I want to check the ECU, I read that it is under the consle in front of the passenger seat. i was wondering if anyone knows the posiation of the ECU in the Australian 1990 J30 Maxima Ti as the pasenger side is on the left side of the car instead of the right side (Because everybody else drives on the wrong side of the road).

Also how do i access the ECU and check the codes?

Thanks

Well if it's not under the passenger or driver seat, I would have to assume that it's behind the dash, maybe toward the middle, near the floor board.

And everyone drives on the wrong side of the road to me, cause I drive down the middle!

Same place as the US ones. Take off the drivers side kick panel by your left foot when sitting in the drivers seat, you should see it there!

p.s. welcome aboard! great to see some more australasian ppl. We've got a New Zealand forum at www.maximaracing.org, drop in sometime and make yourself known, we share most of the features that you guys get.

as for checking codes: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=311138
