Would it be an advantage go up from a 2.5" exhaust to 3.0" exhaust or downgrade to a 2.25" exhaust? I have a 2.5" full exhaust and the top end gains are awesome but when I saw the 3" exhaust system on Warpspeed I was wondering if this would give better gains or would this be better choice for a Turbo'd Maxima?

 

3.0 would be better for forced induction setups.

does anyone have an exhaust setup that is quiet at all times EXCEPT when you floor it?
I had an exhaust like that on my impala and it was great. (of course that was a stock 6 cylinder exhaust system behind a V-8)

aeroturbine isn't a real muffler per say, I don't think it would provide any real accoustical dampening at all

 

Brian, if you would just throw a cat on your car, it would be about half as loud. with a straight pipe coming from the y-pipe to the tail of the car is really not much quieter than running straigt off the y-pipe itself.

 

I have a Cat! the straight pipe is from the cat back
