easy to remove rotor on a vg 90 max

easy to remove rotor on a vg 90 max

Hi,

i was wondering if it is easy to remove a rotor on a vg 90 max,

Front or Rear? I did my front ones and they are easy....need to remove the caliper bracket.

One thing though, if your not mechanically incline, i suggest to take it to the experts.

It's as easy as buying a cheap manual and reading it. Might learn a bunch of other stuff too.

Do you guys just post whatever random idea comes to you minds or what?

true a fsm will help u solve all q's quicker than posting at random...next time post with more detail..front or rear rotor? theirs a spot on the fsm that tells u step by step on how-to-do-this

Hi guys,

Iam not talking about the breaks,

Iam talking about the rotor that under the distributor cap for the vg engine,

why did you guys think i was talking about the breaks,

i don't have any problems with the breaks for the front or the rear,

Cripes man. You have to be more descriptive. Read the stickies before posting questions. How hard could it be to remove the rotor from the distributor shaft?????? Did you actually try and PULL on it??

And PLEASE buy a service manual

man,

the fsm cost alot man,

it cost 105 at the dealership,

but i called the nissan publication and they say that the fsm for the 90 is 85 bucks,

A Chilton's is about $10 shipped on Ebay and it will answer your questions.

The rotor is held on by one screw, located on the side of the shaft, so tilt your head and unscrew that little bastid and then pull it right off. Joy!!!

yup the taking out the distributor rotor is easier than cheking your oil. Just unscrew the distributor cap, then the distributor rotor is under there...DO NOT MESS UP THE ORDER OF WIRES..
