http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/423954/6

the red is NA

i despritly need a ajustable FPR to lean it out some i can thank the walbro 255 for that and the guy at the dyno said id pick quite a bit of power if i got it to a steady 12.5:1

the blue is a 125shot

and look at the that TQ

im trying to figure out why it goes so lean at first then really really rich. i know i need a way smaller jet in the fuel and i didnt have any small enough but i need to make sure i dont go so lean for the first few 100 rpms of spray

so ive got some serious air fuel issues to correct but im happy overall and theres nothing like rippin drag radials loose at 40mph

At what rpm did you start spraying, could it be lean from the sudden rush of air when the juice start spraying and the fuel system can't accommodate so quickly. But once you pass 3700 rpm you have too much fuel (again thanks to your Walbro) I would definately go the route you're planning with a lower fuel jet and adj fuel pressure regulator, I guess that's what tuning is all about

are you changing the fuel pressure at all? the walbro shouldn't affect anything unless you change the amount of time that the injectors open or raise the fuel pressure. the walbro just has the capability to flow more fuel and/or produce higher pressure but you have to adjust the ecu/injectors and fuel pressure regulator to bring those into effect.

are you using a wet shot or dry shot?

what gear did you run it in?

hmmm, get more of the RPM range as well.. you should be able to start below 2000 and stop at 6500. maybe not spray the whole time, but I'd like to see the ends of the torque curve as well- not just the peak numbers.

its a wet kit

both runs were done in 4th

i stoped spraying cause it was so rich it was just bogging and i tryed 3 times changing to smaller fuel jets but i didnt have any small enough

It looks like it would. You also have the option of the barbed fitting also. You really should get an adjustable fpr like a sard or similar to get your base fuel back down to oem.

well in my car I installed the nismo AFPR for the sr and rb and it fits good just gotta take a bolt out of the PTU and spin it up a little. Then just connect the vacuum and return line with some Fuel Injection rated hose. just make sure u got a FPG to set pressure cuz I was just guessing and couldnt get it right but also my injector o-rings were torn so that didnt help. good luck though

Anybody ever seen a VE dyno in the 190's tq wise?

I see alot of fluctuation on the hp side, but it's odd that alot seem to put down 185 lbs of tq (mine for example put down 180 hp and 185 lbs of tq )

Jeffy you forgetty? =\

This was about a year ago now... remember I ran at H-T's dyno day get together thingy (I forget the shop name)

Anywho that was with cai.... y-pipe... catco... greddy.... udp.... clutch/flywheel

I guess that's all the performance bolt-ons. I really want the JWT ecu but I'll wait until I get my spare engine rebuilt and in there, especially since I'm running on 5 cyls now

Yep... it was a 30 minute drive out there in 100 degree heat

The car felt like *** and was unbelievably sluggish. I remember posting about the effect of 'heat soak' on true hp, since my dyno numbers and massive heat soak/sluggishness at the time of the dyno were uber-conflicting

now that you mention it i had to drive about the same distance in 80deg heat to get there and mine was definitly not what it is when its cold

the thing is i wonder if when the car is cold if it runs leaner and thats why it feeles so much stronger since my NA run was off the charts rich

the thing im worryed about is if i get it leaned out to 12.5:1 while its hot will it run alot leaner like around 14:1 when cold
