rebuild tranny place?

Get a used tranny. If you are willing to take about a 30 minute trip (Could be less) You can take I-91 south get off at exit 8 turn right and there's a few junkyards around that immediate area that have 3rd gen trannies. If you take I-95 south, get on the I-91 ramp where it says Hamden, that's after the bridge near all the oil reserve and get off at exit 8, turn left and continue up route 8 for about 2 minutes and there's about 3 junkyards in that area. I was able to get my tranny for $350 plus a free starter 90 day warrantee. I had them install it too for $300. You might not be able to find that priice any longer but you may be able to strike a deal for 600 for the tranny and 300 for the install. Still better than a rebuild IMO. Alwas remember to get the 90 day warrantee in writing on the reciept. Then you have 89 days to dog the tranny and see if it's up to the challenge.
