sunroof shade?

how do you remove the sliding shade from the sunroof ? I can't open the sunroof cause I'm pulling it from a boneyard car. Is there another way to do it. Do I need to remove the sunroof firt somehow? Thanks

If you're pulling it from a boneyard car, then just cut the headliner, study how you should have taken it apart, and remove it. Then when you get home and want to install it on your own car, you'll know exactly what to do.

Wreckers pay squat for their cars and charge too much for parts - so I never feel the slightest guilt in cutting a headliner. Besides, it's not like a headliner is a high dollar, highly sought after peice. Just make sure they're not standing right there watching you when you do it!

at the place I go I really doubt they would care if they DID see you cutting a headliner....reminds me of the time I had to rip half the front end off a olds cutlass ceira to get a powerstearing line....
