How to check for intake leaks????

I was wondering what is the best way to check for intake leaks on these cars, and where if any are the problematic leaks in the intake, that could cause high idle rpm's.

Or which vaccum lines are prone to cracking that would effect high idle?

Share your experiences...

Thanks

I'd recommend just replacing all of the vacuum hoses, even if their not cracked they could still be loose. You can check for intake leaks with WD-40. Just use the nozzle and spray around seals and such, anywhere there is a seal, just spray a little at a time and listen for it to idle higher. If it idles up at all when you spray it, that means you have a leak.
