Max stumbling upon acceleration

All 3rd gens-

I need some help with my daughters 1993 Nissan Maxima GXE-Auto w/83k miles. So far I have replaced plugs, cap and rotor. I've also cleaned the throttle body and I've checked the air filter but still when accelerating I'm experiencing stumbling. The car idles fine though, and once up around 45 mph runs pretty smooth (only with occasional split second stumbling). Only thing I can think of that I didn't check or replace is the fuel filter and the car could have water/condensation in the system. (sits quite a bit while she is in school). I also don't know if it needs premium gas like my 2002 SE. I just put in some "Heet" gas dryer so that might take a couple of tankfuls to remedy. If anyone has a similar problem and knows what this could be or can give a weekend mechanic advice I'd appreciate.

Thanks,
2k2graySE

replace the fuel filter and definatley run premium ifyou can. my car had a similar problem and i relpaced the air filter, the fuel filter, ran a can of sea foam and started using premium and it cleared up right away. also check the spark plug wires

doesn't it say somewhere, like the gas door or something, to only put unleaded in....I'm sure premium is better for it....but I have always been putting unleaded into mine, also because gas is so high, but still....
