SE Foglights

i noticed that there is extra harness wireset running along with the signally light harness. are these harnesses for the foglights that came in the SE model??? there is also an extra harness running next to the cruise button switch. can the SE foglights be hook up to the GXE model through these wires??

The GXE comes with different stock foglights than the SE. They are smaller and thinner. I believe Matt has some on his car.

I thought I remember seeing a GXE with a blank button where the foglight switch is, though, so I am assuming all GXEs don't come prewired for fogs. If they don't have the switch, relay or lights, why would they just put in some wire?

I have never had a GXE, so I am basically just talking out of my a$$

I've helped a couple people with the wiring on them and it was prewired. Cant remember what year it was, but I'm thinking it was 91.

Sometimes its taped back pretty far so its hard to find.

listen to D-Sta, he's a smart guy

and yes, you are talking out of your a$$ They have a blank spot there but it can replaced with a switch and the harness is sometimes already there. Like I said above, I'm not sure ALL of them are (maybe some years weren't) but I know that some GXEs definitely are.

OK I have personally done this myself and can back Craig up. I had a 92 GXE and I hooked up SE fogs in it. All I had to do was get the fog lights, switch and fuse (maybe a relay but I cant remember). Anyway the car was prewired for it and I just hooked the switch and fogs in put the fuse in (and it seems like a relay but again I cant remember) and it was good to go.

I also had the bumper off of my 90 and it was pre wired also.

I just did this on my 92 GXE about 3 weeks ago. One switch, one relay, and a pair of fog lights, just "plug and play".
