here's a good ghost
i'm sitting at the stop light. i flick my high beams out of boredom. the whole car vibrates when i flick them on - stops when i stop. what is so strange is that it does not seem to be localized around the alternator or anything, the whole car just kind of hums heavily. i'm stumped

When yoou turn the high beams on the engine has to pull out additional power so the rev increases just by a few 100rpm. next time when you do that look at the tach. You'll see it go up a little

What?? The engine doesn't automatically rev when the high beams are on. If the car is dying or vibrating when the HBs are one, something is wrong with your charging system
