break-in for new cars

Hi guys,

do you guys remember if we need to break-in on the new car or not?

You should be able to break in any car with a hammer and screwdriver....

Yup in all seriousness Internetautomar is correct. The break in procedures are usually in the owners manual.

yeah lol.

I serously doubt that anything you do from the dealership to your house is going to hurt it unless you leave the parking lot with the throttle hammered and slam on the brakes every time you come to a stop sign only to hammer the throttle again.

If you are uncomfortable about it then ask the sales man to let you read the manual or ask his recomendataion (would rather read for myself since salesmen generally arent going to know for sure but may tell you a bunch of BS.)
