window really slow!!!!

my passenger window is now disturbingly slow going up. it will roll down fast but rolls up slow as crap. when it gets near closed it will just stop and while pressing the button all you hear is a clicking noise. if you let it sit for about 15 seconds, it will start to ease up bit by bit until closed. it has always had this problem but a while ago everytime it rained it rolled up like a normal car would. now the rain doesnt even help anymore. So is this a dry window track, bad regulator, or tired motor. Thanks.

the felt weatherstripping is worn and it's dragging on the glass. try some silicone lube...it might help.

last time I heard a clicking noise I needed a new regulator. but since your window works (sort of) its probably the motor.

best solution is to open the door panel and look to see how the cable is. check to see if anything is binding.
but it does sound like a regulator to me.

I sell regulators, and motors

okay i took off the door panel about 30 min ago and observed the situation. as far as the wire that looks like bicycle brake wire, it was fine. there was a white spool that the wire spun on and there were no frays or anything out the ordinary.i looked at everything as i rolled the window up and down. what I did find was that I guess the above felt stripping had a strip of it hanging from it.but that part was down in the door. when the window is almost closed the bottom of the glass is above that strip, so the strip wasnt the prob from my findings. so im still guessing thats its a mixture of dry felt and a motor going bad. what lube do i need

When my two front windows have sat for a day or 2, when I roll them down they will kinda bounce alittle on the tracks & shake untill they get about 1/2 down then they will roll down smoothly. But it only does it after the're rolled up for awhile like a day. Im pretty sure it has to do with the weather stripping at the top, but it could be something from the inside, like the track. Any Suggestions/Experience??? Please Help, THANX
