Heater Core
No steps. Open heater tubes and inject water in (garden hose full throttle?) from one hose.
Get all fluids splashed out... (maybe, next time I'll...)
Times pass, New Year arrives, Happy one!
Start to wonder why car does not start, rattles rough on wet weather. Then, one day u bump to an ol anti freezing wiking bab bling about glycol [=antifreeze]: "As this thin dried after u splash, in every corne and notch, u wont see it. But when air is moist, those unseen elves will arise and suck all water from the AIR, suck inside 'em elves... ---> Be it dark night, tell wife to start engine, go look at the mar vellous works of tha laws of electrons lightening the engine sky... " [electrons jump short on the glycol-water soaked surfaces]
What now?
Maxima.org: "take everythin out to u boathroom, wash, clean, dry, install. Call u wife, lets go!"
Happy New Year!

You - Not stupid. At least my joking rises from my own stupidities... Been there. Hope you'll not flush your engine compartment with glycol, like I did. Hope also nobody else has not done that before...
Heater Core Update
I just finished flushing my engine and radiator. What worked for me is that
I also drain the engine from a drain bolt behind the alternator on the engine block, you can't miss it, it is the only one. After flushing I tighten the bolt and the radiator drain plug, unscrewed the bleed bolt, fill the radiator with a 50/50 mixture until I saw bubbles seep out from the bleed bolt. At this point, I tightened the bleed bolt and fininsh filling the radiator to its neck. Remember to fill your overflow to the min level. I also changed out the vacuum lines from the little switch above the heater hoses on the centered on the back firewall. I remember reading that on some other threads. Heater in blasting. I love this web site !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! without you all I would probably be out of some big bucks. tks agn
