n00b port & polish
I got a VE and I got this new dremel for x-mas, and it came with a port & polish kit. I was wondering what is the worse that could happen if I don't bore the throttle body perfect all around. Im going to take off the throttle body and port match it to the upper intake plenum, the back of the TB and front of the TB....going to take off as much as possible... Any tips for a beginner?

Ive done it. Its not a big problem dude. I was scared to take off the screws hat hold the throttle plate on. I was afraid they would fly in the intake manifold even with thread lock on them. Just take your time and make sure you get all the loose aluminum out.

hmm, so I may as well just take off the TB, both lower and upper intake, and port match them....and while Im in there I'll get a knock sensor and harness! don't think I need it tho...
How long of a proccess would this take me. If I worked on it 2 days straight should I be able to remove everything, clean, port match, polish, and install it all back? would be my first time doing it obviously

I made a write up on how to port the throttle body. Enjoy!
