Autostart

I just got my car back from a shop that installed an auto start on my 92 se 5spd. Now my car is misfiring badly. It putts a little at idle but the higher the rpm the worse it putts. Kinda like if you ever get water in a distributer cap. What do you think is causing this. He said he can fix it but I dont want him tearing into my engine blindly.
Please Help

what should i tell him to do. the auto start isnt even working. He said the injectors might be gummed up from starting it over and over again. He was working on it from 8:20 am to 9:30 somthing pm. IM highly peeved.

should have done it yourself.
took me a bit long because the color codes on my harness didn't match the color codes that everybody said it should be.

Good thing I know how to use a test light

BTW I run without a tach hookup

Wow, that sucks.... I didn't install my own remote starter, but I looked at the diagrams and I'm pretty sure that nothing is supposed to be spliced into the injectors like that. Sounds like the shop didn't know what it was doing. I'd take it back there and ask them to check over the install.

Yeah, we have a tach wire, there is no need to tap into an injector. He didn't hook it up right.

Thanx for the offer. Im just going to wait till it gets warm and do it myself. I dont have a garage and I wasnt sure how long this nice weather was going to hold up. But i guess it can wait. Every job ive done myself has worked perfectly. Every job i took to a shop was jacked up. Lets hope they get my paint right.

im in jersey also and i installed my remote start without a hitch. there is two ignition wires that must be hooked up, then the clutch switch must be bypassed, and the tach signal tapped, NOT AND DEFINITLY NOT the injector....i say sue his *** for negligence...
