dash kits or paint
Depends on what look you want or how much you want to spend. If you want carbon fiber or aluminum (real not the fake stuff)...which IMO are the only 2 kits to get...then buy a kit. Just dont cheap out on this. If you get a kit get it from woodtrim.com. They have the highest quality kits and look a lot nicer than the cheap stuff (I know for a fact). I had a cheap CF kit and it didnt look very good to me so I decided to sell it and paint mine. I painted it the color I was going to paint the car and then since I got a new car I repainted it silver (which looks much nicer than it did blue). You can look on my cardomain site to see both colors...the silver is with my 92SE section.
I did a little more than just paint though. I sanded the texture off and the painted for a much slicker look. I also didnt use spray paint but actual automotive base coar/clear coat paint.
