Battery Drain When Off

Battery Drain When Off
My friend has a '90 Maxima that has a 2.6 Amp draw when the car is off. It drains his battery (brand new) over night and by morning the car will not start.
We have pulled every fuse (one at a time) from the interior fuse box, and every fuseable link under the hood (one at a time). Only the factory theft system fuse dropped the draw. The main fuseable link coming off the positive battery terminal dropped the draw to 0.0 Amps. Everything is stock, are there any suggestions for what to check?
Also, when the battery is attached, it sounds like a relay is clicking in the passenger side door.
Thanks for the help,
Chris

Thank you for your help. Before I got a chance to try that with him, the problem compounded and he had it towed to a mechanic. I think you're right about the drain... I'll post the results here when we find out.
