auto gearlock on/off problem

Anybody ? has had similar problem:

On a long journey: GXE autotranny gearlock works fine for a while (1hr), then will not (2½hours)... After one hour stop, colder weather, works again without any problem (2hours).
Speed was constant around 60mph (50 is winter maximus here) except while passing slower ones (80-90).

Problem solution, any suggestions, please.

FYI: With VG30E knock sensor resistor -bypassed, I did get first time over 30miles per gallon on snow paved roads...
