Any one using a stand alone ECU?
Im very interested in useing a standalone setup. I dont have a laptop but thats no problem, its only an extra couple hundred bucks. I love the idea of having complete control over the engin. It maybe 1500-2000 but I think it maybe worth it.
My max is stock now but Id like to swap a VG into it (or w/e the 3ed gen 190/190 engin is, im too tired to remember) with a 5 speed, or at least a 5speed. Then I'd get the best ypipe, catback, F/R sway bars, strut tower bars, 1 inch lower springs, and a few small goodies. But mainly its going to look stock and be a sleeper. Then after all that I'd consider a stand alone.
LMK if any one has done them yet...
