How to program your door keypad.
You need to know your 7 digit FIXED number. If I remember right, take a flashlight and look behind the glovebox up around there somewhere you should see a 7 digit number. This is your FIXED number.
Your PERSONAL number can be 4 to 7 digits long.
1. Press the start/clear button.
2. Enter the 7 digit FIXED number. A beep will sound for 6 seconds.
3. Enter a 4 to 7 digit PERSONAL number while the beep is sounding.
4. After the PERSONAL code is entered, the beep will sound and short intervals. This indicates successful entry of the PERSONAL number.
If wrong numbers are entered, the beep will not sound. Press the start/clear button, and enter a new PERSONAL number.
Personal numbers you cannot enter are: 1-2-1-2, 3-3-4-4, 1-3-5-7, or 7-5-3-1.
I didn't know if this has been posted before, but in case it hasn't, here it is.
Also, the programming instructions are in your owners manual, but it doesn't say where to look for the FIXED code. I'm pretty sure it's back behind the glovebox stamped on a plate. It is 7 digits. Good luck, hope this helps.
