I put 20s on my max and drop it 2 inches...need help
the pic of my car 2 posts up is the most you will tuck on 20's with hydraulics, not bags. bags will not allow you to drop as low, there is no adjustability to that, theyre bolt on only. hydraulics you can play with heights
newb.... Sorry, but the bolt on bags will bottom out before they slam a max. Hydros are completely custom, not a problem with slamming it with a lil skill.
not a bad word on bags, i like em. But it has it's limits.

you have to use bolt on mc phearson strut bags in the front, the ride isnt the same on air cylinders in the front, and with the width of your rim you CANT fit a big enough can(air cylinder) behind 20's to support the weight. even if you use the coil over style mc phearson bag, you are still limited to the height of your rim( the bag still has to sit on top of the tire. the taller the tire, the higher the car has to sit) on the other hand MY hydraulic cylinders sit in the same spot the strut does, but since i dont have springs, i dont need a spring perch, which means the height of the tire has no bearing on how high or low i can sit. i can set the height by where my cylinder is welded onto the strut housing, OR by the height of the stroke of my cylinder.
oh, and have fun making the back struts work with air. the strut housing is welded to the knuckle, no bolt on bolt off there.
if you really have questions about this kind of stuff go to streetsourcemag.com or layitlow.com
well thanks for the infomation that is needed. Im really not an expert when it comes to adjustable suspension so thats why im askin someone who knows about it and owns it themselves. It never hurts to ask.
