1990 maxima, my driver side power window doesnt work. I just took off the door panel to inspect the wiring, switches, ect... My hanes manual is no help at all with this. I need some help.

Anyone have any links that can help with this?
I dont want to take it to the stealership if i dont have to.

EDIT: EUREKA!!! Ive got it... turns out its my window switch, ive reversed the polarity going to the motor and pressed window up botton and sure enough the window went down. Only took me 2 hours..DOH!
Now i just need to fix\purchase this switch.

 

I don't think you will be able to fix it, but a switch from a junkyard should not be too expensive.

 

yes im figuring that out now. The relay on the board is bad. finding a replacement relay is going to me next to impossible. Ill be posting a "WTB" in the classifieds and searching local junkyards on moday.

 

I use to work at an auto glass place which also did interior work, and we never repaired them. Only new or junkyard for repairs.
