seat conversion

I have been looking around for leather like mos people here probably. But anyways, I was wondering, what kind of seats can I put in my maxima? I was wondering, how hard is it to make some 4th gen seats fit? I know it wont be a direct bolt up...but how much work will i be putting into, to try and mount some 4th gen powered seats into my 92se.....has anyone done this before and done a write up, or got some pics of how the track was mounted?

how much are you wanting to spend? You can make 4th gens seats work because a couple on here have. I cant tell you how much you have to cusomize it but I just think you have to make some brackets and such.

If you have a little to spend just get new leather covers from leatherseats.com or atd.com. They have group deals every now and then (check the group deal forum) and you can catch them in a price war sometimes too. That is what I did. I got mine from atd.com for 565 shipped including installation tool and hog rings. They are the same katzkin leather seat kit so the quality will be the same either way you go (because ultimately the kits will be coming from the same place...Katzkin).

it's been done a few times.. I know shavedmax has done it.
but IMO, don't waste your time. 4th gen seats suck just as bad as 3rd gen.. watch junkyards for good condition used 3rd gen leather, or just byu a set from leatherseats.com or something for about $600.
