It's that long brass colored bolt behind the pully that is between the udp and the ps pump pully. You have to loosen the adjusting pully center bolt first then adjust it accordingly.

You can also get your alternator rebuilt and installed for around $120 with a warrenty from an alternator rebuild shop. Thats what I did about a year ago, no problems since.

this sucks, just got like half a foot of snow. Am i gona have to jack up my max to yank out that altenator? I gota pull it in my garage and get the wood stove started however due to my driveway i cant just roll it in cuz its on a hill. When i buy a new battery is it cool to throw that in and move it on only a battery without the alt just so i can bring it into my garage, Cuz it looks like thats wut i did when i tried to drive it to my house from my friends.

Battery power only should be fine for a very short trip. Try not to use the headlights/stereo etc..
