its an aluminum flywheel, so it will lighten the rotational mass, which will free HP, so basically you arnt making more, but rather wasting less, if you want a stock one, I have one for sale, freashly resurfaced, but no clutch

If you don't plan on modding, a new OEM clutch is a good choice as well as a Stage I Exedy is a good choice also. Alot of people have said if you plan on going with a lightweight flywheel, no time is a better time than when you replace your clutch.

Oooo, Oooo....I have an oem VE flywheel that I'll sell you too!

lol, I started a post in the FS section and I think there were like 10 guys with an extra oem flywheel lying around, they're kind of useless.

As far as the Fidanza goes...you will definitely feel a difference, it will rev faster/easier and free up a bit of HP to the wheels.

UR flywheel is about 5lbs IIRC where the Fidanza/Stillen/AASCO is 9 or 10lbs IIRC (I dont completely remember the weight, but I know its lighter than the VQ version.

Clutch, Exedy Stage 1 is nice

Flywheel, I saw them going for $325 shipped in the group deals

The UR is only 5lbs total? I know the 4-gen is that light but when you add the timing ring, it goes up by a few lbs. If it's truely only 5-7lbs, I wish you luck.

IIRC the UR was about half the weight of the Fidanza. flyry had the UR which James swapped for the Fidanza.

11lbs for the VQ

my scale told me ~9lbs on the VE

The VE flywheel is thinner than the 95-01 VQ unit.
