I have a stock 92 SE (5-speed, of course). I'm thinking about going bracket racing this weekend but I'm not too sure how high to rev when I'm going to drop the clutch and go. My tires arent stock (of course) but they're about the equivalent (same dimensions, all-weather, long mileage, etc). What rpm do you think I should go from and how quickly should I let the clutch grab (I want to be fast but I don't want to break or wear out anything).

If you can get some drag radials and switch them out at the track, that would be good. Stock rubber, let some are out, run them about 26 lbs maybe and warm them up. Sit at the lights with clutch in, right foot barely touching brake while on the gas, reving about 2.5k rpm. On last yellow light, slip foot of brake and stomp the gas as your dropping the clutch. Just an idea.
