Problems with hard starts

I have a 93 Max gxe 89000 miles. for a while now i have been noticing when i start the car it seems to take about 3 to 5 seconds to start. The car always starts but it seems that it just takes a little too long. I have just had a tune up. NGK plugs, gas filter, air filter, oil change, etc, and i have that same hard starting problem. Has anyone else experienced this, or have any ideas on what may be causing it? thanxs
Dude how old is the batt. and also check/clean the batt. terminal connections. my car cranks over in .5sec
Possibly could also be a bad starter solenoid which is a very good possiblility if the batt and connections are good.

I wanted to add that the IAC (idle air control valve) gets alot of carbon deposits in it especially with 89k on the motor. this can be cleaned with gumout but im not sure of the procedure for the vg motor. when I cleaned my IAC the idle rose 200 rpm. If you cant do the IAC cleaning, then find where the idle screw and raise the idle up to 800rpm.

If you're having a problem starting the car when cold then check the resistances of the coolant temperature sensor. If that is faulty then the ECU won't know the car is cold and will not pulse the cold start injector.

The engine does not have a cold start injector. The injection pattern is changed to all injectors opening together. After several seconds it goes to sequential opening. It always does this when the engine is started, regardless of temperature.
