70 amp altenator, will this fit?

Sorry, but...

The alternator for the 2nd gen puts out 87 amps at 5k rpm. The 3rd gen is rated at 84 amps at 5k rpm for the VG engines. The VE is rated at 91 amps at 5k rpm. Besides, it looks like the sell has ended. 2nd and 3rd gen alternators bolt up in the same place (both VG engines), so it should work in answere to your question.
