Look at the underside of the glove compartment (under the dash on the passenger side) and you will find the code that you seek.

supposedly its not hard at all to reprogram the keyless entry system...just right down the last number on the little module under the glove compartment....press clear on the keypad...type in the number...then type in a personal number and it should be reprogrammed
I bought my max used, didnt kno the code, tried to reprogram, however, my keypad no longer works. Any suggestions has to how to fix it?

Do your power door locks work? I had to do the door lock timer fix before I could get the keypad to work correctly.

whats up with people being rude to newbies? Didnt you all start out as newbies? Some people are just starting to come here for help and dont know everything you know! How about helping them instead of making them feel bad for asking questions! Is that not what this forum what created for?

Its not really the fact of them being mean to the newbies. Its the fact that the new people dont read the stickies before asking questions that have been answered many times.

Yea, my tittle says im a newbie, but i mostly read other peoples threads because they more than likely have the same problem i do/did/might have.

Myself I didnt know what a "stickie" was and maybe others dont either. You shouldn't just assume that people know what all your abbrivations are because we dont. And it takes forever to read all the post to find one where the question is already answered!

Well the stickies are the first posts on the forum that say "STICKY" next to them, and one of the first posts you can even see tells you ( the newbies) to read the stickies, thats why people dont have sympathy for the newbies, and even people with higher post counts for that matter, when they ask questions that can already be found out easily. Im not trying to make you feel bad, because i get fussed at quite often for asking questions that are common. So either you have to take the beating and not feel bad about it, or you have to go hide behind your computer and complain about something that wont change.
