BMW Lights

I've tried to find this info in the stickies but I can't seem to find it. What BMW's can I get these lights from? One of my frinds has a BMW M3 and he says that he can sell me his headlights for $50. i think this is a good price. But I don't know what kind of work is invovled in doing the swap. Do I need to get the BMW harnesses or what. I just need all info possible on doing this swap. I'm on spring break and hopefully I can get this done over my break. Any help would be much appreciated

That is a really good price for OE lights. See if you can get the bulbs too. Read through Craig's page. It's got a lot of other cool stuff you can do.

If you go with OEM lights the switch shouldn't take that long 4-5 hours. If you go with the Euro projector lights, expect to take double that due to the amount of cutting involved.

Wow, that's pretty lazy It really isn't that hard, just takes a long afternoon.

were you hoping you could just remove the old lights and velcro the new ones in so you didn't have to get out any tools?

Well the reason I can't do it is because I am not lazy so I work at my job... a lot, and I don't have the time. Also I didn't think it would be wise for me, an inexperienced person, to go get some power-tool and start hacking into the front of my car. I also have no experience with those tools and for that matter I don't even have access to these tools, (besides the philips head screwdriver). So laziness has nothing to do with it. If I had the time and tools necessary for this job then I would most certainly do it, but I have neither the time nor the tools for it so I think I'll just stick with my stock lights. Now, having explained myself to a complete stranger...I think I'll go back to browsing the forums.
Thank you for your time.
