amp question

ok well this is not really about my maxima but a question about amp brands...im looking for something really cheap to just get me by for a while and i was looking at legacy/sony ect.....and they are all from 70-150 dollare ranging from 200-2400w now my question is are they really that bad in terms of how long they last?..im not to worried about the sound but just how long a legacy or pyle amp ect... will last?.....

I've got a cheapie Legacy amp running my 6.5'' component set. Had it for a few years no with no problems and it does the job just fine. I think I paid about 80 bucks for it

i'd stay away from sony stuff. you might want to look into Hifonic amps. they're relatively cheap and will put out a lot of power.
