Smoke!

well this question is for my 1990 Pathfinder which basicily has a identical VG in it as our maximas, but recently it has been smoking from under the hood and i found out its coming from the manifold and there is a big black spot on it. Do you guys know of any place where oil or any other fluids could be leaking onto the manifold and be causing the smoke ?

Exhaust manifold. Maybe the gaskets are faulty or too old.

Probably just the valve cover gasket.

crack in ex manifold?
busted studs?

the black is the soot/carbon from the exhaust gas.

it is the right manifold if you are facing the front of the vehicle i might get a picture later but i think it might be a valve gasket to but i wouldnt mind if you guys had any other ideas. And also when i said black spot its definetly not just carbon from a exhaust leak, it actually looks like a burn mark and it looks like burnt oil and the oil level is fine. So maybe its some other fluid?
