Remote start....alarm going off??!?!

I just got a 2way remote start alarm system installed PROFESSIONALLY....anyways..ever since I got it it has been screwing up. I remote start the car, and it starts up fine, and runs....anywahere from 15seconds to 10minutes....the alarm goes off and shuts the car off... And If I remote start the car then turn the alarm off so this won't happen...the car will simply die around the time the alarm would normally sound and shut car off.. I have taken my car back to the shop 3 x already...the first time they said they checked the brain and nothing was wrong, so they went through the installation over again and reconnected all wires to make sure they were connected good.......the second time i dont know what they did...and just a few days ago they said the brain of the alarm was going all goofy so they said they reset it and i should be good to go...well 2 days later my car is doing the exact same ****....I remote start, then 15seconds to 10mins later car dies/alarm goes off.....WTF could it be? im getting tired of these a$$holes working on my car because they obviously don't know WTF they are doing... F U CK CAR TOYS, never have them install anything.

something is wrong somewhere, if the shop won't fix the problem, take them to small claims court. if they truly were professionals, they would have figured how to fix the problem.

Doesnt sound to "professional" to me. Especially on a 3rd gen Maxima. Should have been a walk in the park...Or they could have at least swapped it for a new unit, thats what I do anyway if the problem persists after One attempt to fix it.

yes all one unit.....according to the manual...it flashes the inside light 3 times, meaning door was opened....thus reason why it kills the car and starts alarm......So i tried to remote start it earlier....I started it, disarmed the alarm...and when it should of shut of and alarm go off...it just killed the car and wouldnt let me remote start again...I have an appointment with them again this saturday. boy are these guys gonna get a piece of my mind

longshot here but...could the factory domelight delay make it think the doors open?

or could the trunk light be stuck on?(it thinks the trunks open?)

or the hood pin disconnected or faulty mcnaulty?

We will find out today, I get to go talk to them guys after I get off of work..I dont think its the dome light delay or anything, because most of the time the car runs for 2-4 minutes before the alarm goes off....Im guessing they computer brain or whatever of the alarm is just bad...Im going to make them replace it, or someone there is gonna be laid up on a stretcher and Ill be walkin out with wrist jewelry

I have also seen problems with the hood sensor messing up. They should have wired the alarm into the hood sensor which will not allow the car to start if open. If you have a faulty hood switch (seen it a bunch) then that could be the problem.

Good luck today.

well, they said something is diffently wrong with it, but since its like a brand new alarm model that came out they need to wait till monday to call them up...so i get option of them figuring it out and keeping it...or i can get full refund...or i can exchange for a whole diff alarm.....

I was wondering... before I even got this remote start alarm. When I did go start my car, in the mornings. I would hear this clicking sound infront of the sifter near the ECU....It is the same sound that you hear when you push the brake in a little bit....just a click, Its eaither the stop lamp switch, or the A.S.C.D. cancel switch....If one of those switches were bad...would it click, send signal to ecu that brake was pushed, AND if thats the case, thats why my alarm randomly goes off

I'm accually having a simlar problem, cept i dont have an after market alarm. My alarm just goes off randomly when i unlock the door. The only way for it to turn off is going over to the passanger side and unlocking that door

the lock sensor on the drivers door is malfunctioning.
if you want to be sure it has disarmed, just make sure that all 4 doors unlocked from the drivers door.

Update

Finally got my car back after ghoing back to cartoys 3x to fix my alarm/remote start.....I think they finally fixed it, knock on wood......last time i said that it crapped out on me. They originally didn't install a tach wire, and hooked it up some other way. But they told me the alarm i had got was meant to have the tach wire installed, so they had to call the alarm company that made the alarm, and get the wire color code to where to hook it up properly because the 3rd i went back, they thought they hooked the tach wire up rioght, but it wouldn't remote start where they had it....Finally they figured out the tach wire needs to be spliced onto a wire that goes into my injector.......
Now inside my engine bay i got a ****ing wire going to the center of my motor it looks like, then to the front by headlight for hood pin, then to the battery, then to the alarm also there....them *******s left no slack on any the wires and it looks crappy in the engine bay, so one day ima have to cut some of the wires and just add some more onto them.
