ks wiring harness replacement

ok when I got the car the knock snsor was already replaced but the wiring harness got pulled loose or something so all I need is to replace the wire that goes from the front drivers side of the engine down under the intake. what do I need to take off to get to the other connecton so that I can put the new wiring harness on?

I suppose ? the other end of that wire is inside KS, under the exhaust manifold, VGE-engine...

Its in no way an easy job, and the lower intake manifold gaskets are expensive. How do you know its bad. Did you check the resistance?

I know its bad because the other end of the wiring harness is not connected to anything. it looks like that clamps on the other end came loose and the wires came out. I bought the car like this so I dont know how it really happened. the resistor is in there right now but I have heard bad things about leaving it like that so I want to try and get this taken care of soon.

You'll be wise to do so. Check Autozone DIY site for help.

its just unplugged with the resistor in it, you have to take the upper and lower intake off, its a time consuming job but not hard
