My baby is back!!

I finally got the call from the service guy... he had finished rebuilding my auto tranny so I could pick it up yesterday. It took about 0.002 ms before I was standing outside his garage and picked it up. I had already lowered the second tranny out of the car so I went back and bolted on the rebuilt one in a couple of hours.

After all was back in the car I filled her up and checked - filled - checked ATF level like a hundred times just to make sure... =)

Then, after 6 months of 'manually' shifting gears and just running on first and second gear, I could finally put it in D and just go..! Wonderful! Such a relief!! It felt like a mountain of lead was taken of my shoulders... Almost felt like crying

So my baby is back! Also the 16" 300zx rims are on and man do they look nice...

Gonna put up some new pictures of her soon!

not sure if his profile is right but it says he is in sweden. Kinda doubt it would be cost effective to ship a transmission to Sweden.

Yeah, it is always nice to get a car back. Mine spent several months up in the Seattle area.

My profile is right... not that cost effective no I just bought a master kit from internetautomart (thanks man it worked great!) and had this much more experienced guy do the rebuild. Fair price and of course the warranty is the best thing. If anything goes wrong within a hundred miles he'll have to pay for it, not me!

Now the next thing I need to do is have the wheels balanced, and change rotors and maybe even calipers... depending on price of course. Internetautomart do you have anything interesting that I might wanna take a look at? Brake-wise I mean.

Also thee's a lot of rust that needs to be taken care of

Okay they look nice. Actually the rear ones are the ones I need to get first because they're the worst. So name your price!

Also, you or anyone else have a front setup?

Hehe no problem man

There are 3 options when sending, snail, medium or superfast or something like that... and do me a favor... when Brian sent the master kit to me and declared the value to $200 something I had to pay import tax of about 21% when I got it out here... so please please please declare a value of like $20, not more

I'll pay you in advance through Paypal.

USPS was not bad for shipping the trans kit.
just had to goto the post office to ship it :sucks: couldn't do it online.
And as he said claim a real low value so he doesn't get nailed on those BS customs duties.

Yes please do... I checked it today and the taxes are 25% when importing from a non-EU country. That f-ing sucks. So claim a dirt cheap value please!
