amp question

this is probably a very stupid question but do maximas come w/ built in amps or somethin? i bought 2 12" jbl subs and someone told me i dont need to buy an amp cause maximas come w/ em. i have a 1993 se.

if you have the BOSE system then the speakers are the car have built in amps....you will need to buy an amp to power your subs...

Whether you have Bose or not, the amps built in the stock stereo aren't enough to do anything with subs. you'll need to install a good aftermarket amp to power your subs.
