Waxed my Baby Yesterday

Washed it with meguairs nxt, waxed with nanowax and a microfiber towel, looks pretty good if you ask me!

As you can see, both projectors are in, and what you can't see, it only has 1 amber corner, I was painting the other one and it feel over into some black paint, and I need more amber paint anyway.

You can see the LED turn signal (that's not working anyway, need a new hazard switch), that's going to be painted amber also. Still need some fogs, hoping to use the same paint so those have a yellow output. I'm still waiting to buy the rest of my HUD, hopefully that will be working soon. Hope you guys like it!

not bad looking, got a really nice shine.

next time i would recommend washing, clay bar, then waxing....your paint will feel like glass then and might even shine more. its just if you dont get all the imperfections off before you wax, youre just caking them on.

but that nxt wax is sweet, really easy to get off.....like magic!
looks good too with the amber corner, good contrast against the blue.

painted over a clear corner, paint is Kyrlon Stained Glass Paint, yellow is the color, takes A LOT of paint to get them that dark, but they look nice with the blue I think

Like Red92MaxSE says, get some rims. Also fog lights would look great. The car looks really good. I like the color, not real common.

Thanks guys, I like the amber and blue too, and plan on painting the turn signals too, but unfortunately im out of paint, and i need to redo a corner.

I'm missing everything but the HUD itself, trim piece, and one of the harnesses, I hope to have that by next week and have the HUD installed that weekend..

I have someone that will be selling me some fogs fairly cheap, but everything costs money, im ready for some yellow fogs

On top of the rims, he needs a stereo (or at least install his stuff), struts, springs, fidanza flyweel, upgraded clutch, cat-back exhaust, UDP, sway bars...

just messing with ya, D

Get some clears it will look much better or get some clears and have them painted by awsm66 in a smoked color or do it yourself if you can, not feelin the amber, too much of a contrast but if its your cup of tea go with it. Since its a VE it will match nicely with the rear tail lights if you go with a clear or smoked cornner. Nice job on the wax, I hope your paint was real clean before waxing, usually cars our age eventhough you can't see it, tend to have oxidation (not like rust, in the paint term) and deep dirt and grime on the paint. Order from www.griotsgarage.com a clay bar and speed shine, go through the whole car and then wax, you will want to stop after the clay bar because it will feel so good, but wax after and it will feel even better and do it at least twice, its a lot of work but I've done that to my cars and everytime I am done with them my arms are sore but I have a tear in my eye of how good they look .

I have the HUD and trim piece installed, and I will be getting the rest of it, hopefully by next mon/tuesday, then I'll be installing it as soon as I get it, and changing out some bulbs in the gauge cluster (illumination and turn signals), I was gonna go with blue LED-bulbs, but now I can't decide, would amber look good?
