Fuel Pump Removal Question......

Those of you that have had to replace a fuel pump in a `92 SE (VE) Maxima.....did you have to drop the tank, or, is it accesable from the rear seat? Also, what brand and part numbers is the correct pump and how much did it cost....

buy a walbro pump. Its cheap and has great quility/reliability. I feel that a stop and shop cart pusher could replace the pump

Sir, you had a really nice maxima and we are glad to have you back. BUT that doesn't mean this site is your personal play area to post nonsense. I don't have time this week to baby sit. So the leash is SHORT. This goes for everyone, not just you.

Thanks,

Admin

Ours do have the cover. Plus it only takes about 3 min to take the seat off to check. But I didn't see any indication that you did review the stickies first.

If vehicle has no fuel pump access cover the fuel tank must be lowered or removed to gain access to the in-tank fuel pump.
