White Rims

Dose anyone own or have pics of a white 3rd gen with white rims. Ive been wanting to put a set on my max but the chrome ones are a little above my budget at the moment so i'll get some white ones for now.

I also agree. IMO, white on white looks like those late 80s Preludes. Yuck.

White car with tinted windows and black/gunmetal are hot.

That just looks strange to me... like it doesnt look really ugly, it just looks like when people wear a white shirt, white shorts, and white boating shoes...

That looks like something from a Vanilla Ice video...

Actually, I think white rims look good on a black car. There is a guy here with a nice black Integra that has white Racing Hart CP035s and it looks tight. He can blow my doors off, too.

you gotta watch with white rims tho, cause you have to keep them clean, cause you can't have brake dust only on the front two wheels, I do however usually like white rims on VW products, its something about the shape

Agreed, I wish I would have done that with my car, because I see some cars with it, and it just looks so nice. BUT my gunmetal is still amazing

white with white rims looks nice on an SE..black mirrors and trim gives it just enough of an accent that it looks nice. The only problem is, then you have MORE white to keep clean...

That looks sharp. Did you get the white rims from Nissan or did you do it yourself? My white SE's chrome rims are peeling and need to be replaced. The white looks good and I'd like to check on doing it to mine. How much of a pain in the tail feathers would it be to strip and redo the existing rims?

I painted them myself using Duplicolor wheel paint and clearcoat. Get a wire brush (for a drill preferrably) and some sandpaper to get the old paint off, spray some primer down if there is any unevenness, and go to town. Took about 2 full days including drying time.

actually I still have the 92 (its sold but I am not finished with the paint) and 93. The 92 is going to be picked up next Saturday and the 93 will go in the carport right after that for paint and then its gone.

I also still have the 89SE parts car and the 94GXE parts car if that counts .
