Injector Prices
Where would I find the best price on fuel injectors for the max. Cylinders 1 and 6 are dead. Prices I've found are $35.85 reman http://www.autopn.com/store/pc/viewp...product=223133. Awaiting warranty info. $47.24 Lifetime warranty reman at http://store.directauto.com/pfiatp585.html. I know nobody here likes reman but I don't see myself having this car for more than a year longer. So can anyone beat these prices?

like you said, if your only keeping the car for a yr, I would just replace the bad injectors with the reman. i've had 6 reman. for almost a yr now with no problems. since your not keepin the car, who cares
if you want cheaper, go be friends with an engine rebuilder where they have spare fuel rails filled with used original injectors. my friends dad rebuilds engines, and handed me injectors that didn't fit my VG. i think they were for the VE or something. but if he had gotten me the right ones, i would have gotten 6 good workin injectors for free, now thats a bargain!

Fuel Injector Changed Now Check Engine Light on
Hi All, my dad took my old '92 Maxima to one of his infamous mechanics that barely knows how to perform an oil change (to save a penny of course). The car was hesitating/almost stalling/shaking when stopped. Mechanic said it was a bad fuel injector. He had to replace it 3 times because they kept failing on him. Finally it worked, but now Check Engine light is on, car idles a bit rougher, and the cooling fans refuse to shut off. Can anyone provide any clues as to what could be going wrong with the car? Thanks so much, you're all great!
