took a little road trip yesterday...
...to MrGone's house and back.
It was the first time I had driven the Maxima more than 20 miles since last fall when I got it back from Jeff.
Here is what we did:
BEFORE
AFTER
Put on some Eibachs/Tokicos. Finally ditched the 4x4 look. I still have the stock rims and tires on, since I haven't purchased new tires for my gunmetal rims yet.
On a side note, I drove almost 500 miles total, most of it going 75-85 and through two mountain passes (Satus Pass = 3200 ft, Snoqualmie Pass = 3100 ft, while my house and MrGone's house are both well below 1k feet, I am sure). I manged to get 28.6 mpg, so I am very happy with that.

It handles much better. It's a little stiffer than stock, but I drove 3.5 hours home and it wasn't uncomfortable.
MrGone, the tape measure pics didn't turn out as good. Plus, I didn't have time to photoshop them (zoom in and crop) so the numbers were visible.
Jeff, that's just sick

If you look in the "Member Rides" section, MrGone posted a pic of his car with the stock rims and tires with the exact same springs and struts I just put on mine.
