Short of a BBK

Short of buying a big brake kit, what are some good pads
and rotors for the fronts?
Im open to drilled or slotted. as far as pads... do I want any
special compounds? Ive been having issues with the last set
of napa cheapy pads and rotors fading/glazing and squeeling.
Im strapped for cash at the moment so Im driving more careful
but will upgrade very soon.
TIA

Brembo blank rotors and Axxis Metal master pads. Solid, affordable combo. Drilled / slotted aren't worth the extra money, they are mostly for looks.

Im goin for the Brembo Blanks+Metal Master pads very soon, I'll let you know how it goes.

Does anybody know if that combo makes those annoying brake noises? My current brakes are real quiet, but I don't know where they are from.
