Hi, I have Intrax 1.75" lowering springs on my car. Now I am kind of interested in getting a body kit for it, or do some people just get the front nose? But I was wondering if it would be too low. 'cause my concerns after lowering it quite a bit is that it would be way too close to the ground. Does anyone have that type of problem or not? Thanx!!!

Most likely....

it'll be very close, but if you're a really, REALLY careful driver and there aren't a ****load of potholes(like there are in DC), you should make it out with only some minor scrapes on the bottom of the kit(but nothing anyone can see). but remember there are guys that have scraped with even 1.2" Eibachs and NO body kit.....

yeah with the drop you have on your car that would be pretty low...but you might be ok if you don't have a lot of hills and bumps and things or if you don't mind having you kit messed up....i worked on a max a while ago that had a stillen kit and his front nose hade been ripped off by a bump i think is what he told me but anyways it looked like horid..but your car might be just high enough to keep from getting all messed up it'll be close

hey, if you measure the clearance you have from the following, I can check the body kit, and figure out how much room youve got left.

sideskirt to ground
front lip, dead center to ground
front lip, next to wheel well to ground
rear lip, dead center to ground
rear lip, next to wheel well to ground

if you dont understand what i'm asking, i can circle the parts on a pic

my friend has that problem

my friend has a 91se and he has that problem. He bought a stillen body kit from someone and put it on his car after he lowered it. he is one of the most careful drivers i know, but he scraped the hell out of it cause there are tons of speed bumps and potholes around here. Good luck on your car. let me know what happens

hey i have ST lowering springs and the bod kit from stillen. its hard but if you go slow over the pot holes and slow up and down steep ramps you will be fine. i live in nj and drive to school up in RI. let me tell you the roads suck. i have no problems with scraping. just have to be careful going up and down the steep ramps. one more thing to think of is that i can barely get my jack under my car. good luck

i've been thinking about getting just the front lip and side skirts for my max. the roads here in irvine, ca are nice and smooth, so i don't have anything to worry about. the only thing holding me back is the price to paint it all.
